Southland Contracting, Inc (SCI) specializes in tunnel excavation and wet utility installation. To date we have successfully installed over 750,000 linear foot of tunnel. Our personnel are experienced in tunnel excavation ranging from 30 inch diameter utility tunnels to underground freeways 50ft wide by 35ft high, in all types of ground conditions ranging from running sands to hard rock.
