The Perkins team will meticulously plan and engineer your transport project so there are “no last-minute” surprises. Our goal is to load on the date requested and execute a smooth, continuous transport of your important cargo—unimpeded by permit or utility delays, additional hauling equipment or load transfers. We will give you an accurate scaled drawing of your shipment with our bid—the same detailed information we provide to permit authorities. Perkins will have permit approvals before loading at origin unless emergency circumstances prevail.
Perkins will tell you the “straight story” in regards to permit approvals at every step of the process so there are no late surprises. Perkins will advise you in detail of any support we require of you at the loading site prior to arrival. Because “time is money”, our crews will endeavor to minimize the time it takes to load at your facility or that of your customer or port. We do so by being prepared. At Perkins, the “price is the price.” If we provide you a turnkey, fixed price to do the work, we do not request more money later because we “forgot” to include something at bid time.
