After, in the 50’s, the purchase of a carrier crane NORDEST was the first step toward the purchase of more cranes for port services, more and more used to meet a general requirement in this activity and client's demands.
End 1972, Christian-Jacques VERNAZZA created MEDIACO LEVAGE. Attached to the city of Marseille, and widely involved in the local economic development and in innovative industrial projects, he wanted to keep there the head offices.
MEDIACO started strongly its lifting activity with the purchase of the most performing equipment at that date, especially with a Grove TM800 (the most powerful telescopic jib crane in the world) and with the use of the most modern technics, that allowed the rise of the profitability of the clients. Progressively, the park passed from the lattice cranes to the telescopic cranes, allowing MEDIACO to spread its notoriety quickly in France.
