CCS was started by Raymond Chauvin in 1967 with his first crane, an 11-ton Bucyrus Erie. What started as a small job for a little crane led to the purchase of CCS’s second crane, a 35 ton Lima, before the project was complete. Four decades later CCS has a fleet of cranes; Rough terrains, All terrains, Hydraulics, Conventional Lattice Boom Truck Cranes & Crawlers. CCS performs quality crane service, steel and precast installation, and steel and wooden bridge construction all over New England.
Our safety program is second-to-none. We take great pride in our “Certified Erector” status with the American Institute of Steel Certification (AISC) and our “Qualified Erector” status with PCI (Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute.)
