American Contracting is a general contractor that specializes in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Our goal is to be #1 in our field in the Mid-Atlantic United States in terms of sales, profits, safety, quality, and contract performance. We will achieve this goal through a philosophy of detailed planning and execution of our work.

Our projects are staffed with experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents who insure that each job is managed efficiently from "Notice to Proceed" until completion of the final punch-list item. We self-perform the site's civil, structural, concrete, and process mechanical work, which gives us greater control over the direction of each project. Therefore, we are able to complete projects on time without loss of quality. The result: satisfied owners and engineers.
