1987 Lorain LRT 230

This is a 1987 Lorain LRT-150 (15 ton Capacity) that was re-rated to a LRT-230 (23 ton capacity). Before we took possession of the crane some of the counterweight was removed and now the crane has 3,600 lbs of counterweight, so we are classifying it as a 15 ton again. The crane has been utilized in our rail yard in Indianapolis since 1999 and has never worked anywhere else. With the crane having only 719 original hours there has been minimal use since being manufactured. It is in good mechanical condition and the tires have most of their tread left, but the crane is not currently certified due to it only working in our yard.
