Central Texas Equipment

Central Texas Equipment was founded in Austin, Texas in 1946 by “Dulie” Bell and Joe Teague. After 52 years in business, the company was merged in 1998 with Crescent Machinery Company in Dallas, Texas. In 2004, the company was spun off by Crescent Machinery in a management buyout and reemerged as Central Texas Equipment. The “new” company is owned by Andy Tewell, Chris Tewell, Walter Kurowski, and Bob Henry and represents such major manufacturers as Terex, Sullair, Dynapac, Superior Sweepers, LBX Company, Wacker, Elliott, Chicago Pneumatic, and Allen Engineering. Central Texas Equipment moved to Round Rock, Texas (a suburb of Austin) in 2005. Central Texas Equipment is a stocking dealer for both complete machines and parts for the lines it represents as well as having a service department of factory trained shop and field mechanics.
