American 597 Lattice Boom Crawler Crane (#259886)

Location...New Mexico. S/N...GS4138. Cab (Glass Missing), Detroit 6-71 diesel engine, 80' angle boom, boom stops, Johnson hook block, 32" track shoes. The engine started and ran. The drivetrain engaged in both directions and the machine steered. The hydraulic system responded to the controls but the boom continues to lift when returning the lift control back to the center position. The main components appear to be in place and operational.
