This Elevek Construction Hoist is manufacturered in Portugal. It's designed in accordance with ANSI A10.4 which will make the meaurements and safety systems the same as virtually any other Construction Hoist. It's rated at 7188 lbs and travels at 197' per minute. The car is 13' by 4.5' Where this hoist differs is in design and functions. A series of lights lets the operator know immediately what safety system is not closed to prevent service calls. The car stops at each floor whenever it is slowed from high speed. This makes the floor stops the same every time and releases the building gates that are secured unless the car is present. The gates are made by Elevek. They are robust and of excellent quality. The motors and gearboxes are SEW Eurodrive. They are signifigantly oversized as well as is the Schneider VFD. All of the parts would be available in the US, but we don't suspect that parts will be needed for many years. The system is set up with a C door to assist with loading larger items, or to come in from the side. Small details like using chains and sprockets on the doors instead of cables will lead to a long life. Automatic lubrication removes the human error from the equation with regard to lubricating the rack. And what's really amazing is that the tower crane be configured to be erected up to 131' without a tie in to the building. We also have the jib for this crane so it can be self disassembled. Gates are also included with this hoist.
