The US Navy Seabees paid $441,000 for this in 1981!
Here is a very rare opportunity to purchase what is basically a new 1981 machine. Loaded with equipment and options and of course Detroit power up and down! Less than 100 miles on the carrier and a little more than 1000 (several hundred due to the key being left on recently) hours on the crane works. We also have the complete build sheet for this serial number machine.
- Detroit 6V-53T carrier engine with Roadranger trans.
- Detroit 4-53 upper engine with 5-speed manual trans for machine works.
- Power load lowering on boom and both drums.
- Third drum, tagline winder, and drag fairlead.
- 3 shv. hook block, single line headache ball
- Orangepeel clam bucket
- All work/road lights work as designed
- 11.00 x 20 Military tires
- Hydraulic outriggers with alum. pads
- Boom stops
- Hydraulic controls
- Capsule cab with all good glass
- Tubular pin together boom
- Separate pendant lines for each boom section
- Heaters in each cab
- Hydraulic swing, (no hook rollers) Rotek bearing!
- All brakes work along with swing, drums, and boom locks.
We originaly acquired (5) 35-ton machines from the Navy SeaBees. We only have (2) left! When they're gone they're gone forever. By the way, the US Govt. paid $441,000 for this machine in 1982. All wear parts are as new, bearing, drums, linings, everything is exceptional. No excuses, fly to Orlando, drive 60 miles to Eustis and operate this machine in our yard any time.
