Location...Maryland. S/N...27228. This 60ton capacity machine is selling 'NO RESERVE' at the December 16th 2008 Ritchie Brothers Auction in MD. It was a two owner bridge contractor machine up to July of 2008. 120' of Safety Light tubular boom. Independent swing and travel, Roteck turntable (not hook rollers), Detroit 6V-71 with torque converter, Power load lowering on the boom and hoist drum. Complete exterior sand blast, repaint, and decals. Most 50D machines were 50 ton, this is a 60ton model and rare to find! A dragline fairlead is available for $2500 extra. Online bidding is available through the Ritchie Bros. company. The lot number is 1406, it should sell around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon in ring number 2 just after the excavators. Can be hauled in three truck loads, one for the counter weight, one for the boom, and the lowboy for the machine. Sideframes are retractable as well as the gantry with hydraulics on the machine.
