1985 Ford L8000 tandem with 1985 RO model TC150-2, 15 ton crane. This crane is especially tough because it has cylinders versus cables. It has 69' of main boom (including a main boom pullout), plus a 23' two stage off-settable pin-on jib. Total tip height is 79' without and 103' with jib. Crane also has a true two speed winch, and independent control valves for each crane function, The truck has ~160,000 miles but has a completely rebuilt CAT 3208 engine (rebuild cost $7K). Engine is very fuel efficient. Chassis has a 13 speed road ranger transmission, inter-axle locking differentials, and a short wheelbase for good turning radius. This crane has been extremely well maintained. It has had re-chromed cylinders, re-done outrigger seals and pads with new OR feet, re-built control valves and new hydraulic lines. This is a 'cream puff' in regards to condition and performance. It has a good straight boom, and is extremely reliable, efficient and effective.
