The Grove RT500D is a hydraulic crane that is designed to handle rough terrains. It has a maximum lift capacity of 33 tons (30 t), a 75 ft. (23 m) max main boom length, and a 43 ft. (13 m) max jib length.
The box-section frame is made from high-strength, low-alloy steel, and it comes with a built-in hookball and headache ball stowage. The outrigger system consists of four hydraulic telescoping single-stage double-box beam outriggers with inverted jacks and integral holding valves.
The RT500D is powered by a Turbocharged, six-cylinder Cummins 6BT 5.9 L diesel engine that generates up to 145 (108 kW). That along with the standard independent suspension system, full power-shift transmission, and full hydraulic split circuit disc-type brakes on all four wheels makes it a perfect fit for troublesome terrains.
